im 22 years old. i am not a total loner (with no friends) i am actually WELL liked by everyone i meet and i have some very old, close friends and even a wonderful boyfriend. i just prefer to keep true to myself alot of the time and choose to spend alot of my time alone instead of hanging out at bars and meeting new people etc. is this wrong? some people i work with find it strange that some one like myself would prefer to sit at home alone, but i just like to have my alone time to blaze and reflect and be artistic and what not. is there really something wrong with liking to spend time alone?
You sound like you have a good foundation of friends , so why build a greater foundation for your house , if the foundation you have meets your needs .
The only danger I see if that old friend do eventually move on , and if you do not make new ones ,, then someday you could end up alone . But if you get married like most people , you will have plenty of family and friends , but if you don't get marrying , as live moves on , you may need to meet new people , which takes a long time to find a good friend in this world of evil shallow people . So as long as you have the skills or luck to meet new people as life moves on , you will not end up alone .
