Summer Clearance Free
Missing information in Navy OCS application?

A week ago I completed my application packet for Naval OCS, and it is up for review during the next board.

Today I was contacted by an old friend I hadn't heard from in a while. As soon as I saw the incoming phone number I realized that I had made an omission on both my application for commission, as well as my security clearance forms. I had done some free lance work, probably a total of 50 hours in total, for his father's company two summers ago, and I had failed to record it on both forms. The work was legit, so all the proper tax documentation was completed.

What, if anything, will happen assuming I get selected for OCS and then during the security clearance process this work shows up? Is there anything I can do proactively to head off any potential problems?

Thanks for the input.

At least make an effort to find someone about it, that way it will look like an honest mistake when you can stand up and say "this is what I did after realizing it", instead of acting like you're trying to hide it.
