Sight

The sun was just peeking over the hazy hills of Sweet-water Texas, letting it’s gold and yellow colors paint the long grasses of the meadows. The sky was a deep blue that slowly faded into white as it fell down toward the horizon. The trees casted shadows upon the hill that their roots laid deep and attached to. The lake’s waters were rippled from the calm breeze that blew in from the west, reflecting the sun’s rays in a form of brilliant sparkles. The small waves sent the strings of light flowing to the sandy shore line of Trammel lake. A small “V” line of birds flew across the sky, chasing the sun as it made its dash for the west side. The air was calm in the midday heat, making the air slightly cooler.
