Removing heavy limescale staining from porcelain?
We have been using a proprietrary shower cleaner on the shower screen on our porcelain bath. We now have a build up of white limescale which is proving impossible to remove with limescale removers and looks very unsightly on blue porcelain. Any suggestions as to what might remove this. We have stopped using the shower shine!
I have tried vinegar, something I trust and use around the house a lot, but it just isn't working! I tried a proprietary 'remove limescale' cleaner, and that made it a whole lot worse - stuff seems to be breeding!
White vinegar.
Put an old towel over the limescale and cover it in vinegar. That'll keep the limescale wet with the stuff. Allow a couple of hours soaking time at least.
