It’s the third country having the highest number of scientists in the world.
It’s #1 in medicine, #2 in genetics and biotechnology, #10 in nanotechnology, and #11 in aerospace, robotics etc.
Only 60% of Iranians are Persian. 30% are Azeri (Azeri as in Azerbaijan)
Persian rug is a misnomer. Technically it’s made in Tabriz city which is an Azeri dominant city.
Most of the senior officials in Iran are actually Azeri not Persian!
The most terrific girls in Iran are the Azeri girls not Persian girls!
