My family and I own 2 jade bonsai trees from the 1940's would that have any significant worth today??
It appears that they are sitting in a possible brass hand painted pot....the flowers on the tree are a pink and the leaves are green....
WOW!
Yes, definitely bonsai trees are worth a lot today. For example, if you visit this website: https://www.bonsaiwest.com/gallery/page2.html you can see that a Juniper (most common in the US) Bonsai Tree that is 60 years old (more or less like yours) is worth $5500.
You might want to verify what type of Bonsai do you have, you can research it on the web, and then, if you want to, try to sell it. You can sell it either on e-bay, to any one who is interested, possibly a collector or another bonsai seller. You can even sell it to Japanese Garden Parks (all around the world), or to an organization.
Your bonsai trees may loose value if they have not been properly taken care of over the years. You see, bonsai trees are also very artistic plants, one must trim them and mold the main log/branch/whatever to make a nice flowing form. So if your bonsai trees are just bushy and crazy looking, they might not be worth anything. Would you mind posting a picture somewhere and posting the link here so I can take a look at then and tell you if they might be worth something?
I hope this helps.
