I have these glass lamps from IKEA (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/00095588), I want to paint them. Can I paint the inside of the lamp, or will it be safe to only paint the outside?

My husband is in the military and we are stationed in Japan, so I cant just run to a craft store. I have lots of acryllic paint that I brought over. I want to paint the insides of the lamps...so its not like its going to get chipped, Im just worried that it would be flamable and catch fire or something...
Yes, Michaels Craft stores and Dicks both sell paint that sticks to glass. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of color selection, but I've used it and it does work. The instructions will tell you the maximum bulb wattage you can use in the fixture after you paint it, mine was no greater than a 60 watt bulb.
