Ladies: Why do some Chinese guys have trouble getting with white ladies?
I am part Chinese, part French. Raised in predominately white and brown areas. My university is mostly white, but there's another university literally 2 streets down that is mostly Oriental. Of course the two schools share nightclubs, bars, restaurants, etc. I have never had an Asian gf, always white or brown. So it sort of surprised me that so many Asian guys in the other university try to pick up white girls and just crash...so bad I don't want to look.
What is it that they're doing wrong? I'd like to avoid it, lol. I have some guesses, just my very biased opinion. Certainly not all, but most Asian guys are quite shy, lack proper "game", and not as socially skilled.
Okay, I will admit, I am quite "whitewashed". Could this be why it's easier for me when asking a white girl for her numbers? It's not my French, trust me, you can barely tell I am part French. I am 6 foot, and don't have the typical Asian baby face...maybe that helps.
I cannot imagine why girls won't go for Asian guys. Personally, I think they're cute. 
But then, I think most guys are cute. There's something good about almost all types.
It might be that they're shy, and even though Cosmo and Glamour are promoting the "girls take initiative" movement, really there are a good number of girls that still want the guy to be the "man."
If your friends are being sincere and sweet when they ask a girl out or make it known that they'd like to get to know them, there's no reason that they should "crash." The trick is to be open, honest, and sweet. It can be done, even if they're shy.
