Lamp color and decor question?
The furniture in my family room right now is all black furniture and so are my end tables by the couches. I haven't replaced the table lamps yet so what color should I get to put on top of black end tables?
Also the walls are going to be a light tan color so what color lamp shade should I get? Also what shape should it be round or square for the lamp shades and the tables are both square.
Why not try something with some red in it? It'll really 'pop' with the colors you mentioned.

You don't have to assign lampshade shape to table shape. Actually, the more diverse the look, the less bored with it you'll get. Try using two different (but related) lamps/shades at either end of the sofa.
