Years ago my great grandmother had each of us put our names on items in her house that we wanted after she passed away. I put my name on some lovely collectable baby dolls that she had and an antique curio cabinet and a set of china that she had. When we did this my sister-in-law showed no interest in these items.
My great grand-mother passed away two months ago and now my sister-in-law claims that she gets the set of china and the curio cabinet. I say that I get them. Who is right in this situation? Who gets these items?
This is causing a real rift between my sister-in-law and me. All of my family sides with me. And have put these items away for me but my sister-in-law claims that she can have them arrested for stealing. Is this true?
Wo.....and I do mean wo....SIL sounds like she has a brass set of kahoonas.....no way...get what you are supposed to and the he** with her and if she is mad....she is going to be anyway so you can be mad with or wihout your dolls,china and cabinet....it is yours...she could not win in court either....just go and get the stuff..possetion is 9/10th of the law!!!
