I was given one that is abut 7 ft wide and 2 ft high and want to display it but am totally unsure how to hang it.
PLEASE do not tell me to go to a professional framer...if I could afford that, I would not be posting on freakin Yahoo!..It of course has the usual dowels on the ends with the usual ribbon on them. It would be easy to hang if the design were not horizontal, just use the top ribbon, but I am not certain that they will work in a horizontal fashion (1 hanger on each side?)
Also, I am hoping for an answer from someone who actually knows something about Chinese scrolls and their display, not a generalist who builds American style frames (I can do that, and regularly do, for my photo shows.) The only answer so far was a waste of cyberspace and my time.
