Birthday party questions! Decorations... anyone can answer!?
I'm throwing a double-birthday party in a few weeks with my best friend for both of our 16th birthdays. We are going out to get some decorations for our "reflections" themed party and need some ideas.
So far, we have a table with a collage of us and some autograph books for guests to sign - and on that table is a bowl with floating candles and a mirror underneath to reflect the candle light. We also have some candles with smaller mirrors underneath as centerpieces on the 4 tables for eating. These mirrors help enhance this reflection idea with decorations.
We are also doing the 16th Birthday Candle Ceremony along with a trivia guessing game for the guests on 16 facts about us. This reflects back. On the invitations, we even have a reflection effect on pictures of us. These help to reflect on the 16 years we've been alive.
Do you have anymore decoration ideas for the party that will illuminate on ''reflects'' of our past 16 years? List as many as you can think of please!
you should get one wall. the top half is of your pictures from when you were small. like "1 year old" and a picture of you doing something. etc. then the other half is your friends.
buy small hand mirrors (claires or something) then either pin them randomly around the room with a picture of one of you guys (during the past 16 years) doing something on one side, and on the other side there is a round mirror.
