I would like to paint my bedroom and I have a bedroom set of 1950's modern dark brown wood. What paint colors would look good with this? And, my bedroom has some funky windows what are kinda of off center one...which is long and thin is placed right next to the closet and the second is placed off center in the wall that faces the bedroom door...Should I look for drapes that match the paint color or do I look for ones that have some of the bedding colors, also do you have any ideas on bedding colors. Thank you in advance for your help.
play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. I think "really teal" (# 6489) would be pretty with the dark brown. And then buy bedding & drapes in taupe or tan.
