antique furniture set?
Im moving into my new house in less than a week, someone gave us an antique bedroom set. we want to sand everything and paint it and make it look nice. has anyone ever done this before? any tips?
you need to use paint/ stain stripper to get the existing stuff off. Once you have done that, sand it really well. Then you put your own stain on it and then make sure you use polyurethane to seal the wood. I did it with my antique bedroom set that I grew up with and it looks beautiful.
